Clâf di Violin
The flat is located on the ground floor of a building of local historical interest where Maestro Giuseppe Peresson, a prominent figure in the Carnic musical sphere, lived on the first floor until his death. There is also a commemorative plaque in his honour on the building’s façade.
The guesthouse ‘Clâf di Violin‘, owes its name to the former occupant of those rooms, a rather esteemed violin maker and local poet. And it is precisely to pay homage to music in its various facets that this name was chosen.
Completely restored at the beginning of 2017, it has its own entrance on the ground floor, which is easily accessible with baby buggies or wheelchairs, and also a direct view of the private garden of the owners – who live on the upper floor – from which one can enjoy the view of the entire But Valley. In summer you can therefore go out in the shade of the small canopy to read a book or enjoy the panorama of the surrounding Carnic mountains with Mount Amariana already dominating the valley.
Services included in the booking: heating, washing machine, wi-fi, small library, micro-wave oven, fridge with freezer, kettle, crockery, safe, clothes-horse, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, board games, possibility of additional baby bed if requested at the time of booking.
Small animals are certainly welcome.
Extra services: after prior arrangement with the manager, it is also possible to have a supply of breakfast, as well as a supply of newspapers.
In summer, bicycles are available for guests free of charge for excursions in the surrounding area, while in winter there is a room, though not an exclusive one, for storing ski equipment.
